Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Payroll Administrator to join our client in the dynamic automotive industry in Encinitas, CA. This role is vital to ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, compliance with labor regulations, and financial record-keeping for the organization. Key Responsibilities: + Process bi-weekly payroll for employees, ensuring all deductions, benefits, and taxes are accurate and compliant with local, state, and federal regulations. + Maintain and update employee records, including pay rates, job classifications, and changes in employment status. + Resolve payroll discrepancies, investigate errors, and respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner. + Calculate and track overtime, bonuses, and any additional compensation for eligible employees. + Prepare payroll-related reports for management and ensure approval of funding prior to disbursement of payments. + Manage payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements. + Support audits by providing all necessary documentation and reports. Requirements + 2+ years of experience in payroll administration. + Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP, Paycom, or similar. + Familiarity with deductions, tax laws, and compliance issues relevant to payroll. + Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize in a high-volume environment. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications. + Automotive industry experience is a plus but not required.
