**Job Title: Packager** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Packager to join our team in an industrial manufacturing environment. This position offers an hourly wage of $19.67 and operates from 6am to 2:45pm. Candidates should be bilingual and prepared to assist in various production tasks, including operating machinery and general labor duties. **Responsibilities** + Assist in packaging steel framing products for the construction industry. + Ensure products are packaged efficiently and meet quality standards. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. **Essential Skills** + Bilingual communication skills. + Experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred. + High School Diploma or GED. + Ability to stand for the entire shift and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 40lbs. + Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Openness to training and learning new procedures. + Safety-conscious mindset. + Strong initiative and teamwork abilities. + Willingness to work 1-2 hours of overtime per day and occasional Saturdays if converted to permanent. **Why Work Here?** Join a large operation with ample opportunities for upward mobility. It features 11 separate production lines and employs approximately 125 people. The environment is large and open, with potential for loud noise and temperature variations, aligning with weather conditions. Hearing protection is provided, and the company emphasizes attendance and punctuality as key factors for employment retention. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PITTSBURG, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.67 - $19.67/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
