Salary: $72,800 - 93,600 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for an AV Field Engineer with the following qualifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, ideally with a focus in Computer Science.
• Networking classes are a plus.
• A proven ability to work effectively with others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
• A demonstrated ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed tasks, and manage these to completion and customer turnover.
• Relevant certifications such as CTS, EAVA, Crestron Programmer 1, and QSYS level 1 are preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting and configuring AV systems, including Crestron, DSPs (e.g., Biamp, QSC), and video conferencing platforms such as Cisco or Polycom.
• Experience in coordinating network requirements with clients, configuring network switches for multicast traffic, and managing VLANs.

• As an AV Field Engineer, I will be responsible for:
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues in a service support capacity, including testing and verifying system components and connections.
• Creating and coordinating comprehensive drawing packages, including signal flow diagrams, equipment elevations, speaker placements, and conduit requirements.
• Reviewing AV designs for any missing or incorrect materials and redesigning as necessary, as well as creating change orders when needed.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously and providing remote technical support.
• Troubleshooting and repairing control systems such as Crestron, and understanding advanced system drawings, specifications, and technical manuals to produce shop drawings and submittals for new projects.
• Conducting basic programming and configuration of AV equipment, including DSP systems and control systems like Crestron/Extron/AMX, as well as commissioning audio systems.
• Working both in-house and in the field as required, assisting in maintaining project punch lists for completion and overseeing the technical aspects of projects and IT coordination.
• Supporting sales staff with product and system demonstrations and assisting project managers with change order designs and estimates.
