4 Star General Contracting, Inc. is an established, top-rated, award-winning commercial roofing company, responsible for the installation of over 25 million sq ft of commercial roofing, specializing in storm damage assessment, energy efficient roofing systems, roofing repairs and roof restorations.

We are seeking candidates for the position of Site Superintendent.

This is a full-time position and requires frequent travel to job sites primarily in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma with occasional travel to other states. Company transportation provided.

Essential job duties and responsibilities include:

• Supervise subcontractors and oversee subcontractor performance
• Partner with Roofing Project Manager to ensure customer expectations and project milestones are met
• Visit job sites and be responsible for job outcomes, productivity and overall project performance
• Interface directly with customers at project sites to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve/prevent project issues
• Conduct safety meetings on a regular basis, inspect equipment to ensure safety standards are met and maintain SDS
• Track and monitor project progress and communicate status regularly with management
• Implement improved roofing processes to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization
• Maintain fleet vehicles and monitor usage.
• Perform inspections of completed jobs to ensure quality standards are met.
• Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 5+ years of Commercial Roofing and Sheet Metal Industry Experience and knowledge of all types of low/steep-slope roof systems.
• Ability to manage multiple teams in multiple locations.
• Leadership experience with roofing teams, excellent problem solving and team-building ability.
• Exemplary teamwork attitude and collaborative work style.
• Professional customer service manner and relationship building skills.
• Excellent driving record and own car for travel to client sites and materials vendors as needed.
• Must possess ability to lift 75 lbs. while climbing up and down ladders from roof.
• Must possess ability to perform continuous physical activity including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping.
• Must possess ability to perform work in inclement work conditions, including exerting75+lbs. of force occasionally and 20+lbs of force constantly to move objects.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test and random drug screening.

Salary commensurate to experience.
