Our new revolutionary integrated Anthem Flight Deck offers unparalleled levels of connectivity, an exciting and intuitive user interface and a highly scalable and customizable design. **As an Advanced Embedded Software Engr,** within our (NGA) Next-Generation Avionics group, you will impact the design, architecture and deployment of cutting-edge Flight Display Systems, by delivering innovative features, implementing functionalities, enhancing the user experience and the overall advancement of technology. In this role, you will have an impact on the development and advancement of cutting-edge Anthem Flight Display Platform software that will shape the future of Avionics technology. Key Responsibilities + Design, develop and implement advanced software solutions for Avionics Display systems, applications and services, ensuring high performance, reliability, and user-friendliness + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design software architectures, and implement software modules. + Leverage your expertise in software engineering to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions + Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure system performance and reliability + Software architecture and coding + Integration + Certification + Feature Definition + Verification and Validation U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization **YOU MUST HAVE** + Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics + 4+years of experience in embedded software engineering + Proficiencyin C/C++ software development **WE VALUE** + Bachelor'sdegree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering,or related technical field. + Understandingvarious software development life cycles, methodologies and tools. + Proficiencyin programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Open GL, etc + Experiencedeveloping software in a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) + Experiencewith Avionics products is of a PLUS (but not required) i.e. _Displays & Graphics, FlightMgmt, Flight Planning, Flight Controls, Flight Displays (PFD), TrafficCollision Avoidance (TCAS), Crew Alert Messaging (CAS), Terrain, Radios,etc_ + Experience in embedded software development for aerospace, avionics, display technologies, or related industries is of value. + Experienceoperating in an Agile framework desired + Knowledgeof software configuration management and change management practices. **BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL** In addition to a performance-driven salary, cutting-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
